This Privacy Policy explains how Waseela (“Waseela”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses and protects your information when you use the Waseela mobile app and website (the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account information: your name, phone number, email address and password when you register.
• Listing information: details you publish about a business or a commercial space for rent, such as title, category, description, area, photos, sale price, rent and contact number.
• Communications: messages you send to our support team and any reports you submit.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: listings you view or save to favourites, searches, and how you use app features.
• Device data: device model, operating system version, app version, language and crash or diagnostic logs.
• Notifications: a push-notification token if you allow notifications.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, health data or payment card details.

2. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and let you sign in.
• To publish your listings and show listings to other users.
• To let interested users contact listing owners.
• To provide customer support and respond to reports.
• To keep the Service safe, prevent fraud and enforce our rules.
• To fix problems and improve the app.
• To send service notifications you have allowed.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

3. When we share information

• Service providers that host our servers, store images, send notifications or provide crash reporting, only to operate the Service and under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal reasons — when required by applicable law or a valid request from authorities, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.

4. Public listing information

Information you include in a listing — including photos, price and the contact number you choose to display — is visible to other users of the Service. Please do not include information in a listing that you don’t want to be public.

5. Retention and account deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from My account → Delete account in the app, or by emailing info@waseela.tech. When you delete your account we delete your profile, listings and favourites within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or prevent fraud.

6. Your choices and rights

• View and update your account and listing details in the app.
• Ask us for a copy of your personal information or to correct it.
• Turn off push notifications in your device settings.
• Delete your account as described above.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.

8. Children

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above; for significant changes we will also notify you in the app.
